UVU Fulton Library Instruction and Lab Scheduling
Labs
- Labs are able to be reserved by current UVU faculty and staff.
- Requests must be made at least seven days in advance.
- Individual class sections must be booked separately and are limited to one session per class section each semester. You may schedule any two modules for your session. Requests for three modules will be refused.
- Additional lab time without an instructor may be scheduled on a case-by-case basis if the lab is available.
- Instruction labs are primarily for library instruction with a librarian and for student work on research assignments. Other lab requests must be approved.
- Catered food is not permitted in the instruction labs.
- Additional software may not be loaded on instruction lab computers.
Instruction Workshops
- Librarian instruction can be scheduled as part of your lab booking.
- You may also schedule a livestreaming instruction workshop using the livestreaming instruction category.
- Librarians can cover a variety of topics in these workshops. See our Library Instruction for English Classes guide for information about our library curriculum for ENGH 1005, ENGL 1010, and ENGL 2010.
- Instructors are required to be present during library instruction sessions.
